The owner wanted a Balinese inspired pavilion style home for this beachside location, with natural materials and attention to detail. Timber and bamboo were used to soften the spaces with indoor outdoor split level living spaces providing for both ocean views and close connection to the subtropical garden. A private garden bedroom provides flexible usable spaces and the building forms are carefully articulated into their separate functions.
